Robert Minhinnick is an award-winning and acclaimed contemporary Welsh poet. Carol Ann-Duffy described him as ‘one of the most important poets of these turbulent times’. We had the opportunity to translate some of his work into film in order to make it accessible to a wider audience and to create an archive of his culturally significant work. We combined interview, performance and poetry to create an interwoven film that explores his character as an artist, his alter egos, his writing and his personal story.
The film is due for a festival release and will be shown on April 26th at the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl.
